What makes pizza dough flavourful? Pizza doughs are typically made from a basic bread recipe which uses only 3-4 ingredients. To create good flavour, a long fermentation time is required. At Slow Bakes, we use a sourdough starter to make all our breads, including pizza doughs. Not only does this deliver a deeper and more aromatic flavour, it also aids in digestion.

We use sorghum flour as the base for our gluten-free recipes. Sorghum is a drought tolerant and environmentally responsible crop that uses fewer natural resources in its production. Sorghum is also high in dietary fiber, B vitamins and phenolic compounds.
